Think About It Thursday

Think About It Thurs.
Luke 15:1-7
Lost in Actions Moses did it. Peter did it. Even David, God’s chosen did it. What did they do? They became lost in their thinking and emotions, which resulted in them becoming lost in their actions. In short, they reacted impulsively to the situation instead of asking God first for instructions; we are all guilty. While under pressure, assaulted by adversity, or confronted by challenges, we have been known to lose it. We become lost in our actions. Thus, we speak before we think, act before we ask, and jump to conclusions. This aggressive behavior is irrational, erratic, and violent (sinful). When we choose to act this way, we are NOT pleasing God, we are lost. My friend, all is not lost. Like the three characters mentioned above, God, who is love, looks for you until He finds you. Not to condemn you, but to care for you and carry you as you learn how to manage your impulses. Trust in Him as you ask in prayer before you act. Continue to learn how to allow (obey) the Holy Spirit to help you manage yourself.
