Take A Risk Tuesday

Take A Risk Tues.
Luke 15:1-7
Lost. Lost. It means away from. This is what happens to us when we stop trusting in God and start leaning to our own limited, self-centered understanding. As a result, we are slowly lured away from God (the Good Shepherd) into known and unknown dangers. The Bible warns us about living this way and the results we will face when we do. When we choose our thinking over God’s will, we become prisoners of our negative thoughts. We overthink, criticize, and worry. We stress, quit trying, and hurt ourselves and others. We lie, curse, and complain. We are lost. The good news is that Christ, by His life, death and resurrection, came to seek us out and set us free. In Christ, we are set free from negative, trifling, and destructive thinking and living. My friend, you may be saved, but lost. Christ is pursuing you to set you free. Take the risk to trust in His Word and His timing. He promises that when you are lost He will leave the ninety-nine and go after you until He finds you and brings you back. Love looks for the lost.
